James Arthur Gekiere

James was born in Ronse Belgium and lives in Gent with his wife and 2 daughters. After studying communications in Gent, he studied photography. He worked for several Belgian news brands such as HLN, De Morgen, Het Nieuwsblad, De Standaard and several PR agencies. Since 2015 he began working as a stringer for Belga Image, mainly as a portrait and documentary photographer. In brief, James can be described as flexible, swift, social, multilingual (Dutch, French, English, Spanish). Besides photography he likes to travel and discover the world, good food and cycling with friends.
