Yorick Jansens

Yorick was born in Neerpelt and lives in Overpelt. He studied photography for 3 years and started working as freelance photographer for several newspapers in 1999. He started working for Belga in 2004. In 2015, he won the Nikon Press Photo Award, category sports. He mostly covers sports and did several big sport events like the World Cup in Brazil, the Australian Open or the Tour de France. He also covers several news items and makes portraits. He likes mountainbiking and good food in great company.
