Kurt Desplenter

Kurt was born in Roeselare in 1971 and lives in Lichtervelde. After graduating in photography at Saint-Lucas Fine Arts in Ghent, Kurt started as a freelancer for the newspapers Het Laatste Nieuws en De Krant van West-Vlaanderen in 1992. He began working for Belga in 2006, mainly as all-round photographer. Kurt has covered several big news stories in West-Flanders. He regularly shoots the Pro League soccer competition. He loves singing, black chocolate and playing the drums.
